The
Dee of St. Mary's is one of the few skipjacks in the state of Maryland certified by the Coast Guard to carry passengers for hire. The vessel is certified to carry 38 passengers and a crew of two. She is equipped to sail in protected waters and must carry a double reefed mainsail and reduced area jib. The boat is equipped with an inboard engine for use in restricted waters and when winds are light.
